How it works
How the linen calculator works
Every linen item runs in cycles: one in use, the ones in the wash and a spare. Sheet sets are counted per bed, bath towels and washcloths per guest, and hand towels and bath mats per bathroom.
- Sheet sets = beds × (1 in use + in the wash + spare)
- Bath towels = guests × towels per guest × cycles
A worked example
The starting rental: 2 Queen beds, sleeps 4, 1 bathroom, laundry on site. That's 3 sets per bed and 3 towel cycles.

Send the laundry out and one set is always away, so the same rental needs 4 sets per bed, 8 in all.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't know how fast your linens wear out. Replace thin or stained pieces on their own schedule.
- It doesn't plan mid-stay linen changes for long stays.
- It counts linens, not consumables like toilet paper or soap.

How many sheet sets do I need per bed?

How many towels per guest?

No. Pillows are bought once. Pillowcases come with the sheet set, and extra cases cover any pillows beyond it.
