PriceLabs vs Beyond: which pricing tool fits a small host?
Short answer
It depends on what a listing books. PriceLabs charges a flat $19.99 a month for one listing; Beyond Growth takes 1% of bookings, cleaning fees included. They cost the same at $1,999 in bookings a month: below that Beyond costs less, above it PriceLabs does. Both price inside a minimum you set and connect to OwnerRez and paid Hospitable plans; neither works on Hospitable's free plan.

| 3 listings, $3,000 each | $49.97 source | $90 (Growth) or $112.50 (Pro) source |

Where a flat fee and a percentage cost the same
PriceLabs costs $19.99 a month for one listing whatever books. Beyond Growth costs 1% of the month's bookings and Pro 1.25%. Divide the flat price by the percentage to find where they cost the same: $19.99 ÷ 1% = $1,999 in bookings a month, and $19.99 ÷ 1.25% = $1,599.20 against Pro. Above that line PriceLabs costs less; below it Beyond does.
Listings 2 to 5 cost $14.99 each at PriceLabs, so for a second or third listing the line drops to $1,499 against Growth. Three listings cost $49.97 a month at PriceLabs, the same as 1% of $4,997 in combined bookings.
A hypothetical listing that books $3,000 in a month pays $19.99 at PriceLabs, $30 on Beyond Growth or $37.50 on Pro. In a $1,000 month, Growth is $10 and PriceLabs is still $19.99.
- Beyond counts guest-paid fees such as cleaning and extra guests, so compare against your bookings including those fees, not the nightly rate alone.
- Beyond's Pay on Stay option charges 1.49% on the check-in day instead of 1% when booked, which moves the line down to $1,341.61.
- Beyond's first $5,000 in bookings are free and PriceLabs gives 30 days free, so the first months cost differently from the rest of the year. Compare a full year.
By situation
- On Hospitable's free Essentials plan: neither one. Essentials doesn't connect outside pricing tools; its own Dynamic Pricing is a $15 per property add-on there.
- On a paid Hospitable plan: both connect, but Hospitable's own Dynamic Pricing is already included for active properties, so check whether you need a second tool.
- On OwnerRez: PriceLabs connects by API; Beyond lists OwnerRez in its integrations directory.
- A busy season and a quiet one: Beyond's fee follows your bookings down in empty months; PriceLabs' doesn't.
- You want to look before a tool changes prices: Beyond's Free plan shows your listings and market without touching prices.
- You need a date priced below your usual minimum: PriceLabs allows a fixed date-specific override under it.
Choose PriceLabs if
A listing books more than $1,999 a month including cleaning fees, you want the same bill in busy and quiet months or you want to price a date below your usual minimum with an override.
Choose Beyond if
A listing books less than $1,999 a month or swings a lot by season and you'd rather pay only when nights book. Beyond also fits if you want to watch your market on the Free plan before letting a tool change prices.
Or neither
With one Airbnb listing that books most nights, Airbnb Smart Pricing or rates you set by hand may be enough, with your break-even rate as the floor either way. The break-even rate calculator works that floor out from your own costs.
